About Me

I live in  San Luis Obispo with my wife Elisa. She just recieved her Master's of Science in Anthrozoology at Canisius College. Before that, she was the Southern Arizona Program Manager for Gabriel's Angels, a wonderful organization that pairs at-risk youth with therapy dog teams. We met at Kenyon College, our alma mater, in Gambier, Ohio.

Here's our cat, Georgia, trying to change my views on free will.

I am originally from Chicago, Illinois. Before starting graduate school, I returned home for a couple of years and worked as a civil servant in the office of a city councilwoman. Outside of philosophy, I try to keep up with long-standing hobbies: I like to paint and I play blues harmonica. I play video games with a group of friends made between high school and graduate school (and now beyond).
